Carl Dantzler is the president of Trends Cares Foundation, an organization born out of his passion for creating positive change. The foundation was inspired by a personal tragedy in which Carl introduced two friends, leading to a heartbreaking outcome where one tragically took the life of the other, leaving five children to be raised by their grandparents. This event deeply moved Carl and ignited his mission to support his community and provide opportunities for growth and connection.
At 50 years old, Carl has dedicated over 20 years to his career at General Motors, where he exemplifies hard work and perseverance. He is a devoted husband of 14 years and a proud father to three children: NaKaila (23), Caleb (23), and Londyn (14).
In addition to his work at GM, Carl is a professional licensed barber and the owner of Trends GMC Barbershop, which he has successfully operated since 2013. His entrepreneurial spirit extends to his role as Founder and CEO of Trends Incorporated, established in 2011. Trends Incorporated has gained recognition for its innovative competitions, including the “Battle of the Talking Heads Barber Battle” and the “Best in the Midwest Hairshow,” which celebrate creativity and talent in the barbering and hairstyling industry.
Carl’s work reflects his unwavering passion for helping people, living life to the fullest, and inspiring others to pursue the American dream. Through his leadership and dedication, he continues to make a meaningful impact on his community and beyond.
